Registration to this forum is free. However, we do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below:
.This policy is designed to protect our members from harassment and personal abuse and by registering on this site you have agreed to be bound by our Acceptable Use Policy. Infringement of these rules will result in a formal warning, while subsequent offences may result in a temporary ban being placed on your account and you will be unable to access some or all forums. Repeated breaches of the policy WILL result in a permanent ban of your account and IP address. If necessary, we will contact your ISP or another appropriate body and strongly recommend that you be prevented from continuing to use their service. Internet abuse is a crime.
.Members may not use Football Chat to abuse other members in any form, be it religious, racial, cultural, sexist or political. A borderline case will result in a formal warning; extreme cases and repeated offences will result in a permanent ban. Sectarianism in the Scottish and Irish forums will also not be tolerated under any circumstances. The definition of a ‘borderline’ case is at the discretion of the Moderator(s) of the forum(s) in question, and the site managers. This includes use of offensive ‘nicknames’ used by one group to insult another, beyond the bounds of ‘banter’. Member profiles are included in this clause.
.Registration on FootballChat.tk is subject to the applicant being 13 years old or over, and each applicant will be required to complete a declaration on registering to confirm that they meet the minimum age requirement.
.FootballChat.tk is an English speaking site. Whilst members are welcome from all corners of the globe posts must be in English at all times. Posting entirely or mainly in capitals is impolite, and is not acceptable on this site. Similarly posting in TXT speak is also unwelcome, persistent offenders will be warned and if necessary the posts removed.
.Personal insults/attacks directed at members in what is seen as a malicious manner will be immediately deleted by the Moderator(s) and a caution given. Repeated offences may result in either a temporary or permanent ban from one or more of the forums.
.Bullying of members for whatever reason by individuals or groups of members will not be tolerated, those deemed to be guilty of such behaviour will be excluded from the site either temporarily or permanently at the discretion of site Administrators. This includes references to race, religion, sexual orientation or disability, whether assumed or actual.
.If a member wishes to lodge an official complaint regarding the conduct of another member this must be done by Private message to a member of staff with full details of the complaint, and where possible examples of the behaviour in question.
.If a member wishes to lodge an official complaint regarding the conduct of a Moderator or an Administrator and is unable to resolve it with that person this must be done by Private message to a member of the Admin. team.
.Members are not permitted to spam the same or a similar message across all our forums, all posts of this nature will be removed, and the offending member will be banned.
.Match commentary is not permitted, it is just post whoring. We all have 'net access and the 'net is full of sites that give latest scores, so there is no point whatsoever in posting, "Wow, what a goal", as it means little to those not watching the game and is irrelevant to those that are watching. Commentary will be removed and persistent offenders will be warned and if necessary banned.
.While the General Off Topic area is a ‘free’ forum for non-football discussion, there is nothing to be gained from posting infantile and meaningless threads. This area is not exempt from the site Acceptable Use Policy. Offenders will be cautioned, and if necessary the threads/posts removed. Repeated offences will result in either a temporary or permanent ban from this area and/or the entire board.
.Signatures must not be large enough to slow down page loading of the forums, (guideline maximum size 500 wide x 60 tall pixels for images OR 5 lines of text), or they will be removed by site Administrators without warning. Repeated posting of large signatures will result in the member’s access to their usercp being removed, and with it their access to the site Personal Messaging system.
.Threads/posts in bad taste or considered to be offensive to other members will be edited/deleted at the discretion of the forum Moderator(s). Due to the wide age-range of our users posts of an overtly sexual nature are not permitted, and pictures, links, disguised links or hyperlinks of a pornographic nature will result in a ban from the site. Members or spammers who have been registered for less than 1 year will be banned permanently, longer serving members will be banned for a minimum of 2 months. Second offences of a similar nature will result in a permanent ban regardless of length of membership.
.Members are not permitted to advertise other football sites on these forums, either directly or indirectly. If any site owner wishes to advertise, please email an Administrator for further details. The public posting of direct links to illegal streaming sites is absolutely prohibited.
.When registering on Football Chat, each member must select a Username which is unique to them. The use of multiple accounts and therefore Usernames is not permitted, and users who are found to have multiple accounts concurrently active may be liable to having all their accounts banned, or have restrictions placed on them. Accounts once created cannot be deleted and new accounts registered. Should a member wish to change their Username, or register with a different account to replace one that is already active, they must get authorisation from an Administrator. Each unique account is for the use of a unique user, accounts cannot be shared, only one member per account is permitted. Each unique member is responsible for their account security and password, posts made using that account and password will be the responsibility of the unique user at all times.
.If any member has a complaint about the conduct of another member or the content/nature of a post they should Report This Post to a Moderator. Complaints made publicly on the forums will be removed and ignored. If you feel strongly that a public complaint is necessary, please make it in the Announcements, Feedback, Requests & Suggestions section of the site.
.Although the Administrators and Moderators of FootballChat.tk will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Football Chat nor Proboards will be held responsible for the content of any message.
.The owners and managers of FootballForums.net reserve the right to edit, delete, move or close any thread for any reason.
